We all know how much a bank holiday can make a dent in your fitness plans. We thought we would send a little motivation your way especially after all the Easter eggs you might end up eating this weekend. This is a super easy lower body workout that you can do at home, with no equipment.

 
Warm up:

Jog on spot with high knees for 45 secs

 

Exercise 1 - Circuit:

Bodyweight squats

Jump squats

Lunges alternating each foot you use

Perform each one for 30 seconds one after each other, then, have a 45-second break and repeat again four times. Or if you fancy doing 5 then all the better.

 

Exercise 2:

Glute bridge x 20

Frog pump x20

Perform each exercise for 20 reps and then rest in between for up to 1 minute. Then repeat the whole thing 3 times.

 

Exercise 3:

Donkey kick x 20 into a pulse

Fire hydrant x 20

Perform each exercise for 20 reps and then rest in between for up to 1 minute. Then repeat the whole thing 3 times.

 

To finish:

 

20x jump squats

Be sure to keep going even if you slow right down and it takes you what feels like forever to complete it.

 

Then be sure to finish by stretching out all your muscles. There are some great videos online about what muscles are best to stretch after leg day.
